Pak-Line’s commitment to waste reduction

Every year we innovate to make more products with fewer raw materials - improving our efficiency economically and environmentally. Our aim is to reduce the amount of waste entering into New Zealand’s various refuse areas without compromising product quality and still maintaining an effective price and market share.

Pak-Line products are manufactured in accordance with the Resource Management Act and all polymers and substances we use have approval under the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act.

Towards Zero waste

We have an effective zero waste policy with the intrinsic principles of reduce, reuse or recycle. This has been in practice for the entirety of Pakline’s existence.

Recycling

We recycle our own material and are happy to recycle our own products. Our in–house recycling programme sees 2.5 tonnes of waste plastic reused in lower grade bags each month.

We are able to do this free of charge if products are returned to our Auckland Office.
